Vitacost.com Redmond Clay Facial Mud Review

When Vitacost.com asked me to review Redmond Clay Facial mud, I was pretty excited.  I had always wanted to try it.

Redmond Clay has no chemicals.  The only ingredients are Redmond Clay and purified water.

I applied a decent layer to skin and let it dry for about 25 minutes.  I liked the way it tightened as it was working and drying.  While it was still a little moist, I removed it with a warm wet cloth.
My skin was a little red after removing it, which the packaging said is normal.  But my skin felt great.  It felt smooth and clean and had a cooled feeling.  I plan on doing this twice a month.

I also received the powdered form of the Redmond Clay which can  be used on bee stings, burns, cuts etc. to promote healing. It can also ingested to support digestion.  I plan to use it as a facial mud as well and if I experience any external aches or pains, I will try it on those as well.

  1. I've read about Redmond Clay before and always wondered if it truly worked. Being able to use on for bee stings and other aliments would be great. Thus preventing the need for several medications in my cabinet.

  6. I have this mask and it's the only thing I've noticed has positive effects on my skin in a while. I've been using it a lot lately as my skin has gotten oilier from the warming weather and I suspect another product I've been using is also largely a culprit for making my skin overproduce oil. This one's a keeper!
